Harvest moon over "The Monument" on Stage Island, Maine ~
This unique structure was built in 1825 as a daytime navagation aid for mariners coming through Saco Bay. I thought it might look nice with the full moon rising behind it.
I hope you enjoy this image as much as I enjoyed capturing it, especially with the tide coming in and getting me wet!
